The GT350 Mustang was launched in 1965 with Shelby and his driver Ken Miles developing Fords Pony Car into a full-blooded track racer. By the time the 1967 model came out it had become a popular road car for the spirited driver.
Thunderslot are reproducing the car in four iconic authentic colours, but its what’s underneath that will interest the slot car racer. This car features a plastic chassis which is a replica of the style of metal chassis that has been popular with serious slot racers. Chassis apart, the running gear contains all the familiar high-end components that we have come expect from Thunderslot, including the 21.5k rpm motor in an angle winder configuration.
